Ski Trail Report

Light snow falling this morning. An inch or so expected. We will plan to groom the new snow later today and tomorrow.

Select trails are open for skiing after a couple inches of dense snow Friday evening/Saturday morning and daily grooming. Early season conditions, watch for rough spots, areas of thin cover and unmarked obstacles but skiable on select trails. Recommended skiing on Sukkerbusk for no track classic skiing and Skaters Waltz for skating.

All the trails have been packed and groomed but need a bit more snow before open to skiing. Having packed and leveled will serve the next snow falls better and allow skiing sooner.  Please do not skate on trails packed for classic. Skating on Skaters Waltz only.

Trails are closed to hiking at this time to preserve the base. Fat biking allowed on side of Skaters Waltz to access singletrack as part of the “FatLagChilada” course. Fat bike trails are open and groomed. Latest bike trail report.

Sunday we packed on the western trails and Monday we cleared and packed on the northern trails. All the trail have now been packed. No further grooming until more snow. We are have been hauling pick up loads of snow to rough spots on the start area and Skaters Waltz.

Trail passes can be purchased on the products page.

Maplelag current conditions including data from the new Maplelag weather station can be found on the Weather page. Total snowfall since November 1st at 8″. Current snow depth is 2-4″.
