Feels and looks like winter with snow falling off and on most of the day accumulating to an inch or two. This is a great start as this snow should stick with cooler temps forecasted and a nice little base for the next snowfalls. Quite a wild day of weather. Calm, clear and sunny conditions in the early morning before a big time snow squall, break in clouds with a return of the sunshine than big wind and snow flurries late afternoon. Temps staying cool in the lower 30’s. Many of the smaller lakes and ponds are frozen over and the ground is slowly starting to set in frost. Riding on the mountain bike trails was great early on and the last report of the year is posted.
The trails are in great shape and ready for winter. A few sticks coming down from today’s wind we will clear when on the trails.
