Detroit Lakes Invitational Nordic Ski Meet
The DL Invite will be a continuous pursuit, starting with classic style and a quick change to skate at the halfway point of the race.
**The skiers may have assistance in the change over process.
**If skiers use the same set of skis for both the classic and skate race, the skier must step completely out of the ski binding in the ski transition area before they will be allowed to continue the next leg of the race.
Each leg of the race will be roughly 5 km in length.
***Varsity skiers will ski the pursuit format
***Jr. Varsity and Jr High skiers will ski only a 5 km Classic race.

Moosejaw! Old Tyme Dance, Clogging and Music Weekend
We hope you’ll join us on March 11–13, 2016 for our annual dance weekend. The Wild Goose Chase Cloggers began hosting the Moosejaw dance and music weekend 30+ years ago to provide an opportunity to take workshops in old-time music, clogging, square and contra dancing, and other traditional dance forms from national and local musicians, teachers, and artists. The weekend features evening dances on Friday and Saturday night, workshops during the day on Saturday and Sunday, and lots of jamming all day long. Other highlights include skiing, steam room, a woodburning sauna, and 5 endless cookie jars. Homemade midwestern-style food and lodging at the beautiful Maplelag resort are included in the registration cost. The weekend is open to dancers and musicians of any experience level.
