An incredible day on the trails. Absolutely no wind, sunshine and upper teens for temps rising to the lower 20’s and a light coating of frost/fluff on the trails. Can’t imagine how the conditions could be better! Not taking anything away from any other day so far this season because any day with snow on the trails is a great day! Fresh grooming this morning on Bullhead lake trail and bootleg extension, Loon Return, Double Green and Mother Hen. Compacted base 6-10″ on average with some spots over a foot. Snow depth 1-2 feet in the woods.
Hard to beat a morning like today with temps in the mid teens, light winds, sun/cloud mix giving way to clear skies. Sunshine glittering the fluff snow from last night throughout the forest. Fresh grooming this morningh on Sukkerbusk, Twin Lakes, Sap Run, Mother Hen and some test grooming on Skaters Waltz and Suicide Hill. A great week of skiing on tap. Select trails will be groomed during the week with most trails re-groomed by the weekend. Compacted base on trail ranges from 6-12″ and snow depth in the woods ranges from 14-30″.
