The four schools of the Rochester Area ski team were at Maplelag the weekend of January 9th-11th for a training camp and held a time trial on Sunday before going home. Photos below from the time trial.

Maplelag donated a three night four day training camp for this inner city school of Minneapolis as organized by the City of Lakes Nordic Ski Foundation.
Sun dogs are a result of a refraction of sunlight by small ice crystals making up cirrus or cirrostratus clouds
The Back Porch Quilters of Detroit Lakes, MN. lead a quilting retreat at Maplelag each November. Over 50 quilters work on “quilts” and what not over four days with special speakers during the retreat.
