Winter Recreation at Maplelag

When fully opened, Maplelag has skiing and fat biking on 90km of trail. Around 50km of trail groomed with tracks for classic only skiing and 15km groomed separately for skate only. Around 5km no tracked/groomed for bushwhack skier made track skiing. 20km of trail groomed separately for fat biking. Over 400 acres available to explore via snowshoe, powder stashes on the sledding hill and the ice rink for skating! Full trails report on the trail report page along with day activity information.

Pan Fried Walleye

A platter of pan fried walleye ready to be served family style. Walleye is typically served on Thursday nights. The Minnesota delicacy coming off the grill at Maplelag ranks with the best in the country.

Maplelag is famous for its home cooked, made from scratch, all you can eat meals served family style. We can also accommodate vegetarian/vegan diets and any gluten free or food allergies. Any food related questions please feel free to contact us.

The “Smorg” is a long time tradition of Maplelag featuring the Norwegian wedding cake kransekake, home made bread and muffins, fresh fruits, imported block cheeses and other Scandinavian traditional favorites. Served every Sunday during the winter season.

All meals are home cooked, prepared from scratch. We use only fresh and as many local ingredients as possible, and serve the meals family style. We are able to accommodate all dietary needs with advance notice. Food is something we take very serious at Maplelag!
