The fat bike trails are covered with 3-4″ of snow after last weeks 6″ snowfall. This week we hope to pack a few trails after we complete more ski trail grooming. The Twin Lakes and Bullhead Bootleg loops are open for riding but will most likely be slow going with snow to pack.

Ski Trail Report
Trails are open. Happy December 1st! Very thin dusting of snow overnight. With the base we have every little bit helps and we are getting close to being able to set track on a few trails. Overall the trails are skiing very nice for early season.
Today Sukkerbusk, Sap Run, Skaters Waltz were combed with the 5′ Ginzu groomer. North Star, Rootin Tootin, Twin Lakes and JibFly were roll combed. Tomorrow we will try to set track on a few trails after today’s grooming sets up overnight. We will continue to groom daily this week along with snow farming and shoveling.
A great Thanksgiving week of skiing thanks to 6″ of new snow and daily grooming. Thank you to everyone that came out to ski and supported the trails with season pass purchases.
Early season conditions, use a little extra caution watching for thin cover and rough spots but very skiable. 30km of trail packed and roll combed. No tracks set. Recommended to ski Sukkerbusk and the easy loop of JibFly for no track classic skiing and skating on Skaters Waltz bypassing the Kamikaze hill segment. Other trails packed and groomed will have a bit more rough spots…..Just Ski!
All inner trails have been packed and combed. Twin Lakes to the west and North Loup and the extension loops of Skaters Waltz to the north also packed and combed.
We had a great Autumn of Fall grooming clearing leaves and debris off the trails and the new snow is packing in well with the clean deck before the snow.
We cleared over 600 trees since the Solstice 2025 storm. Big thanks to everyone that has helped!
A relatively dry fall. Total snowfall in November at 7″. October precipitation at 2.7″ and around 1″ in September. Total precipitation ytd (rain) at Maplelag is at 25.12″.
