Ski Trail Report

Trails are open.  A cool night setting up yesterday’s grooming. Should be a really nice day to ski! All the trails were groomed 1-2 times o Friday/ Saturday. Trails not groomed, (Loon Return, Wavy Gravy, Island Lake) will be groomed today. The snow is skiing a bit slower due to the dryness and cold temps but overall very good skiing.

We are grooming on the trails this morning, plan is to start with Sap Run, Sukkerbusk, Twin Lakes, Bullhead Lake/Bootleg, Rootin Tootin and Roy’s Run. Skaters Waltz will get a comb after these classic trails are groomed. All the trails were groomed Friday and Saturday and even if not groomed right away today will be nice skiing in the fresh snow…..Just Ski!

A great day hosting the Section 8 Nordic Ski Championships. Good job to all the skiers the competed and congrats to all participants that made it to state. Thanks to all the coaches, volunteers, and workers that helped make it a special day. Good luck to all the skiers at the state meet next week!
