Bike trails are open for fat biking/winter riding. Dusting of snow on the trails but mostly dirt surface. The deck is frozen down hard and rolling good and improving with recent rider traffic. Trails remain open all day thanks to a rock solid base. Tuesday and Wednesday riding looks to be best in the morning with warmer temperatures forecasted.
Trails will be open every day moving forward provided it continues to remain below freezing. Please note the signage and tape for the summer “dirt” season has been removed but the key singletrack segments are marked. Recommended to use a fat bike with the frozen/crumbly surface. Ski trails are open for riding (non AMA segments) until we begin grooming for skiing.
Once again we will plan to groom around 25km of trail for fat biking this coming winter season. The main loops groomed are Bullhead Bootleg and Twin Lakes singletrack with inner segments to connect to make a “FatLagChilada”.
