Trails are open. Cooler weather for the weekend and nice Fall riding conditions. Beautiful Autumn scenes in the woods right now with many trees hitting their peak of fall color.
We have been clearing on the entire 25 mile LagChilada course this week, removing dead trees and sticks/branches etc. after last weekends wind storm. Leaves are dropping fast back onto the track but the main thing is we have the sticks/branches and trees removed in the process of clearing. Overall nice Fall riding conditions!!
We will continue clearing select segments of trail throughout the fall until dirt season ends on November 3rd at sunset.
Nice job to the riders that completed a double LagChilada the past few weeks and always good seeing new riders out!
Couldn’t ask for better weather for year 34 of the Laddies Loppet mountain bike race weekend. Thanks everyone who came for race # 9 in the Minnesota Mountain Bike Series and thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, and support folks that made it a great day! We are already looking forward to next year for Laddies Loppet 2025 over Labor Day weekend!
Great week hosting the local HS MTB Team “Wolves” training camp earlier this summer. Fun energy and nice job to kids and coaches! Contact us if you are interested in bringing your team for training camp summer 2025. [email protected]
There is no trail fee for the remainder of the season thanks to a generous donation by MLC Custom Homes of Detroit Lakes to offset trail maintenance the remainder of the dirt season.
Nice job to all the riders that completed the LagChilada challengethis year! The opportunity to complete the challenge is available every day the trails are open during the dirt season.
We always try to clear any new deadfall right away but limbs, branches etc. can fall down at any time. If you encounter any trail issues, please text Jay at 218-849-7669 or if any other trail questions.
Reference our map, Trailforks or Strava to help with navigating. LagChilada challenge signs are also in place. Click for more information on the LagChilada challenge. Nice job to all the riders that have completed it so far this year!
