Mountain Bike Trail Report

The trails are now open for riding. Chilly morning on Tuesday with a freeze overnight. Trails will be greasy at the transition, best to wait until late afternoon or early evening.

Typical early season conditions with loamy/soft areas but rideable. Heavy rain Sunday night was good to pack the soil. We have 2-3 weeks to get all the signage out and best to ride if familiar with the trails. Please stay on the side of the ski trails where soft.

The snow the week before has helped pull the frost out and dry the trails out. The thick layer of snow helped keep the ground from freezing and the moisture seeping from the snow helped melt the frost.
