Trail Report

1-2″ of fresh snow the past 24 hours. Light winds and 31 degrees for high on Friday. Excellent skiing conditions. Compacted base on the trail is 6-11″ and snow depth in the woods is 15-26″. We groomed the entire trail system today except for Roy’s Run which has been recently groomed with fresh snow on top but skier packed. The woods are still flocked with some of the snow from the storm a few weeks ago. Chance of more snow tonight and on through Monday. We plan on grooming the entire trail system Saturday morning if more than 1″ of new snow. Conditions couldn’t be much better and skiing is fantastic. All the trails are tracked for classic  except for  Skaters Waltz and Skaters Extension which are  groomed for skating. There are still a few low hanging branches and face slappers here and there but we are trying to clear the trails the best we can and overall the skiing is ideal, albeit a bit soft with the fresh snow, warmer temps and high humidity.
