Trails are now closed for the season. Winter not stopping however with 4″ of more snow today, Wednesday the 20th. If the temp drops this evening, we will try to groom one more time for Thursday morning skiing. We will try to set a track on the 4km late season loop for one last classic grooming!
Incredible weekend, Monday and Tuesday of skiing. Great seeing everyone that came out to enjoy. This is one of the best months of April skiing we have every experienced.
It will be at least 3 weeks before all the snow melts off and frost goes out before we can open the trails back up for hiking and mountain biking.
With the grooming in April, this is the 6th consecutive calendar month we have groomed this season. First grooming was back on November 13th, 2021.
Season total of snowfall at 123″ after today’s snow. Snowfall on Sunday breaks the previous record of 118″ of total snowfall in a season. Considering the dry summer and fall, the precipitation will bring the water tables back up to normal when the snow all melts and the frost goes out.
