Trail Report

A great  MLK weekend of skiing. Calm and cloudy on Monday with snow in the afternoon and wind switching to the northwest, Sunday cloudy with wind out of the southeast and light snow falling in the afternoon and Saturday sunny crisp and clear.  5″ of fresh snow past four days.   The entire trail system was fresh groomed Monday morning except Lucky’s Loype. We will be grooming again on select trails Tuesday morning.  The snow is starting to accumulate nicely in the woods, covering much of the underbrush.  Compacted base 7-15″. 100% open on 64km. 57 km tracked for classic, 15km groomed for skating.   Skaters Waltz/ extension Single and Double green, Suicide Hill and North Loup groomed for skating.  There is also a track set on North Loup for classic.

Total snowfall  this season has been 58″.  The trails are open for day skiing and the current fee is $15 to use the trails for the day.
