Ski Trail Report

Trails are open. New snow overnight accumulating to an inch or so with much cooler weather in place. The fresh dusting made for nice skiing today. There was no rain at Maplelag the past 24 hours. We groomed all the skate trails this morning and begin resetting tracks on select classic trails. (Sap Run, Mother North Star and JibFly) We continue with resetting tracks the remainder of the week. Warmer temps on Sunday and Monday but the base held out great and skiing remains very good.

Trails groomed for classic and open include Sap Run, Mother Hen, JibFly, Loon Return, Sukkerbusk, Mother North Star, Rootin Tootin, North Loup, Roy’s Run, Island Lake, Wavy Gravy and Twin Lakes. For skating Skaters Waltz, the extension loops, Single Green, Kristin’s Cutoff and North Loup.

Lucky’s Loype and Bullhead trail are snow covered, no grooming and open for bushwhacking. We have packed a loop on Bullhead lake and set a track on the perimeter for classic.
