Temperature warming during the night to the mid 20’s Chance of snow this afternoon into the evening and Saturday morning. Currently the ski and fat bike trails are coated with a thin layer of snow. Not open for skiing but open for hiking, biking, exploring and adventuring!
Temps have been well below freezing since the Christmas rain/freezing rain event and frost is setting the ground hard again. The lake has been making ice and thickness ranges from 7-10″. Guest have been skating and skiing on the edges. With the current state of the trails, it won’t take much snow to have skiing on the trails! Forecast looking better for accumulating snow this weekend.
