13km of trail open. 9km tracked for classic, 4km groomed skate. 3-4″ of new snow the past 24 hours. Grooming Saturday afternoon on Sap Run, Sukkerbusk, a short loop to the west and the easy loop of JibFly setting track. 4km of Skaters Waltz packed and combed. The trails are very skiable and considering there wasn’t much base left before this new snow which was very dense and moisture laden, groomed out nice. There are thin areas and recommended to not use best skis. JibFly easy loop has thinnest coverage, best to ski with “rock skis”. Temperatures look to be below freezing Sunday but if the sun is out, the snow will get sticky in the afternoon. Best to ski before 1pm.
