After skiing last weekend, the trails are drying up and very close to be fully open for mountain biking and woods travel. A few wildflowers are emerging from the forest floor and and a few other signs of spring.
Although forest travel is limited with the melt freeze cycle, we will work on the trails in the morning when frozen, mainly cutting deadfall for next winter firewood.
Thanks everyone who supports the trails at Maplelag. We appreciate you very much and can’t wait to have folks back on the trail for dirt season. Stay tuned for more updates.
